- We have been invited to host a table at the international fair here on campus on April 22nd, from 11 - 2. I need some help from 11 - 1, as I have a class. Volunteers?
- Walter Dutton, one of our members is also an attorney, and has generously agreed to help our veterans here on campus. His offer includes help in filling out forms for the VA if you are not sure of what should be included, etc... More information to follow.
- BBQ - Food Handler issue.
- Tukwat Transcripts: Information regarding what they are, why you would want one, and how to get one. I will have mine as a sample at this meeting.
- Membership Drive! We need more members! There is a misconception among our members, the student body and the staff and faculty. The common belief is that you must be a veteran to be a member. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The By-laws state "Active membership in the organization shall be granted to all students enrolled at California State University San Marcos and to all faculty/staff employed with California State University San Marcos." There is not a requirement to be a veteran, and I strongly encourage anyone that positively supports our veterans to join our association. The reason being, is that the larger our membership is, the more clout we have in getting issues pertaining to veterans resolved favorably.
